Terms of Service

Mekatris provides professional manufacturing services including but not limited to: 3D Printing Services - Additive manufacturing using FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) and SLA (Stereolithography) technologies with various engineering-grade materials; 3D Scanning Services - High-precision scanning and reverse engineering for quality control, digital archiving, and CAD model generation; CNC Machining Services - Precision subtractive manufacturing for metal and plastic components including milling and turning operations; Laser Cutting Services - Precision cutting and engraving services for various materials including acrylic, wood, metal sheets, and more; Design Services - CAD design, modification, and optimization services for manufacturing; Machine Maintenance - Repair and maintenance services for 3D printers, CNC machines, and laser cutters in the Konya region. All services are provided subject to availability, technical feasibility, and these Terms.

Quote Validity - All quotes provided by Mekatris are estimates based on the information supplied at the time of inquiry. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Quote Acceptance - By accepting a quote, you authorize us to proceed with the work described. Orders are considered confirmed upon receipt of payment or written acceptance as specified in the quote. Price Adjustments - Final pricing may vary from the original quote if: the submitted files differ from those quoted; additional work is required beyond the original scope; material or technology changes are requested; significant design modifications are necessary for manufacturability. We will notify you of any price changes before proceeding with additional work. Order Cancellation - Orders may be cancelled with full refund before production begins. Once production has started, cancellation fees may apply based on work completed.

File Submission - You are responsible for ensuring that uploaded files are properly formatted, suitable for manufacturing, and free from errors. Accepted file formats include STL, OBJ, STEP, STP, 3MF, DXF, AI, and SVG depending on the service. File Review - We will make reasonable efforts to identify obvious issues with submitted files, but we are not liable for problems arising from file defects, design errors, or unsuitable specifications. Your Intellectual Property - You retain all intellectual property rights to designs and files you submit. By submitting files, you grant Mekatris a limited, non-exclusive license to use them solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order. We will not share, sell, or use your designs for any other purpose without explicit written consent. Confidentiality - Upon request, we can sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for sensitive projects. Standard confidentiality practices are maintained for all customer projects.

Payment Terms - Standard payment terms require full payment before production for orders under €500. For orders over €500, a 50% deposit is required with the balance due before shipping unless credit terms have been established. Payment Methods - We accept bank transfer (EFT), credit cards, and PayPal. All payments should be made in the currency specified in the quote. Currency - Prices are quoted in Turkish Lira (TRY) or Euro (EUR) as specified. Exchange rate fluctuations may affect final pricing for international orders. Taxes - All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. VAT will be added to orders within Turkey. Customers are responsible for any import duties or taxes in their jurisdiction. Late Payment - Overdue payments may incur interest at the legal rate. We reserve the right to suspend further work until outstanding payments are received.

Lead Times - Production lead times vary by service and project complexity. Quoted lead times are estimates and begin after order confirmation and file approval. We strive to meet all deadlines but cannot guarantee exact delivery dates. Shipping - Risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon delivery to the shipping carrier. We are not liable for delays, damage, or loss caused by shipping carriers or customs. Shipping costs are calculated based on destination, weight, and selected service level. Inspection - You should inspect all delivered items within 7 days of receipt. Any defects or discrepancies should be reported immediately with photographs and detailed descriptions. Claims made after 7 days may not be honored.

Quality Assurance - All parts undergo inspection before shipping to ensure they meet specifications. We maintain industry-standard tolerances as specified for each manufacturing process. Defective Parts - If you receive defective parts that do not meet the agreed specifications, contact us within 7 days with photos and a description of the issue. We will, at our discretion: repair the defective parts; replace them at no additional cost; provide a partial or full refund. Custom Parts - Due to the custom nature of our manufacturing services, parts cannot be returned unless they are defective or do not meet the specified requirements. Parts manufactured to your specifications that meet those specifications are non-refundable. Warranty - We provide a 30-day warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, improper handling, or modifications made after delivery.

Mekatris's total liability for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order in question. Under no circumstances shall Mekatris be liable for: Indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages; Lost profits, revenue, or business opportunities; Loss of data or business interruption; Damages arising from designs provided by the customer; Delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control; Any claims related to the use or performance of manufactured parts in final applications. We provide manufacturing services to your specifications but do not warrant fitness for any particular purpose unless explicitly agreed in writing.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mekatris, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from: Your use of our services; Your violation of these Terms; Your violation of any third-party rights including intellectual property rights; Any designs, files, or specifications you provide that infringe on others' rights.

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our sole discretion if: You violate these Terms; You fail to make required payments; You provide false or misleading information; Your project involves illegal activities or content. Upon termination, any outstanding payments become immediately due. We may retain copies of your files and data as required for legal compliance or legitimate business purposes.

Mekatris shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government actions, supply chain disruptions, power outages, or equipment failures. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of such events and resume services as soon as practicable.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Konya, Turkey. Before initiating legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt good-faith negotiation to resolve any disputes.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should discontinue use of our services.
